David "dc" Collier

David 'dc' Collier is President of Pikkle KK, a social game publisher based in tokyo. Pikkle provides social games to the major platforms here in Japan, and has received investment from Mixi, Japan's largest social network. Previously DC was the Business Creator for Namco Web&Mobile in Tokyo, overseeing expansion into new markets such as China. In 1996 DC founded Gamelet in San Francisco, one of the first producers of internet based games. Gamelet was acquired by PacketVideo Corporation in 2001. In the early '90s, DC founded Game Developer TripMedia in London, designing BURN:CYCLE and VIRTUAL NIGHTCLUB CD ROM games. He has published three books on digital design, including "Collier's Rules", and in his spare time founded JGram.org, a community for studying Japanese grammar.

Joel Breton

Joel Breton is an international video game producer, video game designer, D.J. and entrepreneur. Joel is also known as an international super producer and he is best known for producing award winning video games including Bomberman Live, Unreal, Duke Nukem, and Pirates of the Caribbean. Breton is a video game industry veteran who began his career in 1993 when he produced the Mortal Kombat World Championship at the Cow Palace in San Francisco. Since then he has produced, designed and created more than 20 video games across 20 console platforms. He has also created more than 100 online games that have been played billions of times at AddictingGames and across the web.

ohn is the VP of Engineering at Hi5 and previously John was at Digital Chocolate making mobile social games. John has extensive experience in Game Development having built a myriad of chart topping games for Company's including THQ, Jamdat (now EA Mobile) and Take Two.

Mark Wallace

Mark serves as a consultant and advisor to gaming and mobile startups, and has a stealth gaming project in the works. He is a graduate lecturer in the Games Department at the Academy of Art University, previously worked as Conversation Manager for the virtual world of Second Life, and was CEO of the VC-funded social Web startup Wello Horld. He is a former journalist for publications like Wired and The New York Times, is the author of a book on online games and virtual worlds (The Second Life Herald, MIT Press), and has spoken at numerous conferences, universities and corporations, including South by Southwest, Inside Virtual Goods, GDC, Harvard, NYU, American Express, and others.

Oscar Clark, Evangelist for Papaya Mobile, the leading mobile games social network, has been involved with putting social and games together since 1998. His career has been at the cutting edge of online, mobile and console social games and includes roles at British Telecom (Wireplay), Hutchinson Whampoa (3UK) and Sony’s PlayStation Home.

Hernán Pelassini

According to his mother, Hernan learned to talk before walking because he figured out that if you ask for things nicely, you can have them brought to you. This concept evolved very quickly into a passion for telling computers what to do. A Computer Science degree from University of San Francisco, and a couple of co-founded companies later including Nextive, Hernan works at Globant as their mobile guru. Hernan has worked on several top 10 mobile games, including Farmville and Mafia Wars for companies including Zynga, Aeria Games, Funzio and BigFish games.

Dario Laverde

Dario Laverde is a Developer Evangelist at HTC. He has experience in software development for mobile, embedded, web and enterprise. Amongst his various professional roles, he has worked as an Android Instructor, consultant, Java architect, author and entrepreneur. Dario leads the NYCJava JUG and co-organizes both the NYC-GTUG and the New York Android Developers Meetup. He also co-founded the skylight1 open source Android project.

Michael Ludden

Michael Ludden is a Developer Evangelist at HTC. Tasked with developer enablement, Michael is focusing on how best to help developers differentiate without fragmenting on HTC devices – creating great, unique user experiences that widen appeal of apps and catch that all important user’s attention. He will be showing how developers can take advantages of HTC’s app promotional programs, support, co marketing and robust toolsets to maximize an app’s influence. He has a bachelor’s degree from UCLA and has been working passionately in development and with developers for years.

Lance Nanek is a Developer Evangelist at HTC. He has ten years of experience in information technology: implementing web metrics for ibm.com at IBM, writing Java web applications at State University of New York System Administration, and working on Android apps for many companies, including CardioTrainer by WorkSmart Labs with over three million downloads. He has a master’s degree in Computer Science from State University of New York University at Albany.
