Running on a Device

Hey All,

I am having troubles running the project on a device. I have tried on HTC Hero running 2.2.1 and Nexus S running 2.3.4. When I connect the device and run a separate eclipse project, it runs fine but papaya doesn't seem to find any of my connected devices. Any ideas what's the issue?

Do you have android-sdk-windows folder in our SDK main folder?
If you have it, in the main folder, try android-sdk-windows\tools\abe.exe devices

See if your device is printed out

You mean adb.exe devices, right?
Yes, both of the devices I am using gets listed ...

I have been able to install and run the papaya sdk tutorial on another computer using the same steps but its weird that its not running on my current computer. (Both have same version of windows, jdk etc. installed)...

This is really weired. Is this your HTC hero or Nexus S?

Also can you try android-sdk-windows\tools\adb.exe install projects\tutorial\tutorial-debug.apk

Basically what run.bat does is adb.exe install

Nexus S ..

Well, I still don't know what the problem was but I copied the SDK folder from my other computer (on which Papaya was detecting devices) and replaced my current folder with that. Now it is working fine...
